1794 HALF DIME PCGS MS 63
5998874
Beautifully toned in natural violet and electric blue. This
flowing hair design was only produced for two years. Scarce in all
grades, the 1794 date is seldom found in this advanced grade.
$38,500 |

1795 HALF DIME LM-10 R-3
PCGS AU58 21853427.
Ample luster appears on
the light silver surfaces. Strongly struck on the obverse with
adjustment marks (mint made) visible on the left periphery.
There is also a die
cud break at one o'clock on the obverse.
The reverse is
generally well struck with some weakness on the eagle's breast.
All in all a great
looking coin with impressive eye appeal.

Terrific eye appeal on
this conservatively graded rarity.

1796 DRAPED BUST DIME
JR-1 R-3 NGC MS
64 1608613-001
The die cud at 7
o'clock and the three die cracks that reach the eagle's wing,
identify the JR-1.
This is likely one of
the finest known examples of this rare date and variety.
The devices are well
brought up and glisten with original mint frost while the fields
are bright and prooflike.
Both sides are
brilliant with the exception of what appears to be a streak of die
grease (as minted) across Liberty's neck.
The eye appeal and
technical quality of this piece is sure to please the most
discriminating collector of this series.
Greysheet dealer to
dealer wholesale bid is $41,600 and collectors universe price is
$60,000.

1796 DIME JR-4 R-4 PCGS
AU 50 9907528.
With exacting detail in
Liberty's hair and intense surface luster on both sides, this coin
is in our opinion grossly undergraded.
There is only a
whisper of friction on Liberty's face and even with the rub on the
eagle's breast this coin residing in an au 58 holder would not
elicit criticism from the fussiest numimatist.
But PCGS says au 50
and so it shall be...... for now.
Encapsulated in an
early holder with green insert.

1807 DRAPED BUST DIME
JR-1 RARITY 2 NGC MS
65

is dominated by various golden hues.
Typically struck on
the peripheries but with strong striking on the central devices.
Struck from clashed
dies with adjustment marks visible on the obverse at 7 o'clock.NGC
census 12 with 3 finer.
An altogether lovely
piece with fantastic eye appeal.

1820 CAPPED BUST DIME
JR-2 R-3 NGC MS
65 1936514-003
Strong luster flashes
through a rich mixture of rose and electric blue. NGC population
11 with 7 finer.
A great opportunity to
fill that high grade type set.
$12500 |

1809 CAPPED BUST DIME NGC
MS 64 630926-002
JR-1 RARITY 4
Well struck and
intensely lustrous, this is among the finest graded by NGC. With a
population of only 5 with just 3 graded finer this is a highly
desired grade.
What appears as a
disturbance on Liberty's cheek is a mint produced clash mark.
The quality of this
coin is "off the charts" and certainly challenges the next higher
grade at double the price.

strike with swirling lustre and a generous helping of
original mint frost. This is the one and only example graded ms 64
by NGC. There are 3 others graded au and none finer.

1838 LARGE STARS SEATED
DIME PCGS MS 64 21559621
Fully struck in all areas
including Liberty's hair and drapery and even her sandal straps.
All the stars show bold divisions and the rich frosty luster with
mark free surfaces leads us to question this obvious gem residing
in a ms 64 holder. A truly high end coin.
$1950 |
  |
1865 NGC MS 66
1996336-002
Raised die polish lines give prooflike deepness to the fields
causing a distinct cameo effect that is more like a proof issue
than it's actual grading as a high end business strike. A gorgeous
coin with extraordinary eye appeal.
$4250 |

1891 S SEATED DIME PCGS

Exceptional luster and an
absence of marks combined with a strong strike in all areas raise
this coin to the very top of it's grading tier. The eye appeal is
outstanding.
