1877 S TRADE DOLLAR
NGC MS 65 555681-005
Untoned centers sport a
golden patina with cerulean blue highlights around the peripheries.
The sparkling lustre
enhances the eye appeal of this outstanding gem.
The 1877 s mintage of
$9.5 million would make one tend to believe that gems would be
plentiful but these coins were heavily exported and surviving gems
are quite rare with only 30 pieces so graded and just 5 are finer.

1880 TRADE DOLLAR PCGS
PROOF 64 CAM 13524669
Rarely, if ever, have we
seen such deep watery mirrored fields even on coins that are graded
deep cameo.
The scarcity of
hairlines would seem more appropriate on a proof 65 example.
Certainly a very high end, near gem cameo proof that will delight
it's next owner.
