still wish to have an attractive and presentable representative for
their gold type set.

1910 D $10 INDIAN NGC
MS 64 3058953-004
What appears in the
photo as a dark line from 9 o'clock to the date doesn't exist to the
human eye. It is likely an area of planchet brightness that the
camera displays as darkness.
The surfaces are a
lustrous, evenly distributed medium gold with no discolorations or
blemishes that would call the assigned grade into question.
If anything the surfaces
seem to be to clean from contact marks for this grade.
Indeed, we have all seen
too many $10 Indians with excessive cuts and bruises residing in ms
65 holders.
As a conservatively
graded ms 64, This is easily a bargain at this price.

Deep lustrous golden

considered high end for the grade. A quick glance at the Heritage

hammering down from 25-50% over Greysheet. Some for double Greysheet.
An NGC example of this date and grade went for more than $4000.

  |
1856 S $20 LIBERTY
PCGS MS 62
It's difficult to
imagine what the PCGS graders were thinking when they limited this
coin to the ms 62 grade.
The surfaces on both
sides have an absence of marks usually found on $20 Libertys in much
higher grades.
This is especially true
of the reverse which we think should grade gem 65 or even finer.
The obverse too is
extremely clean and possesses the most spectacular toning of lime
green, rose and orange shades. The camera does not do justice to the
very original toning.
This example was obviously not among the
reclaimed, "curated" (read cleaned) treasure coins.
This is a very unique
offering for those that appreciate original "old gold" toning and
original undipped surfaces which are far above even typical ms 63
preservation and eye appeal.

AU 58 3191496-001
There is absolutely not
even a trace of rub on this coin and in my opinion it has not seen
even two minutes of circulation.
The blazing cartwheel
luster is complete and unbroken and more than compensates for the
heavy contact marks which in my opinion would cause this coin to be
graded no more or no less than ms 60.
The spread between au 58
and ms 60 is so small as to make a resubmission impractical.
This is a better date
